This is a three part video from HCRI (Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative) of a presentation by Zac Forsman about the propagation of Hawaiian reef-building corals for restoration research. He covers some important issues related to the reef aquarium trade including some very interesting points about the interaction between light and flow and how this can affect the growth of our corals, looking specifically at Porites.sp and Montipora.sp.  He also discusses the affects (or lack of) that some very common brands of commercially available coral foods have on the growth rate of corals.
